Those capital Ships are dishing it out at one another!
Question: Those Capital ships have a Main gun ? or just a Bajillion burst lasers? it's looking like a Michael Bay movie! cutters and eagles bowing up left and right!

If they have a main gun, I've never seen it. The imperial cap ships have some guns that seem larger than anything on our ships, and have bluish white beams, but the damage seems comparable.

I've been away from the game for most of the week as I had some wife and work priorities.

I'm debating whether to do more of the new CGs, go back to some more exploring, only now 1,500ly out, or to possibly go back to mining. Sometimes mining can be quite profitable, 5-10M credits for 2-4 hours when I get a number of those Osmium, Platinum and Painite missions lined up. But I'm using up a Class 4 (Refinery) and Class 5 (3x Collector Limpet) bay, which could be used for other components in the Python.

Just because I miss it, I think I'll do some mining when I get on tonight. But it might be the last time for awhile as I do some of the CGs, and then maybe back to exploring next week.

Well, you just missed four trade CGs during the last two weeks, the CGs for this week are all of the pew-pew in conflict zones variety, which tend to pay less than the hauling ones. However, the way the CGs have been set up, you can join both parties and play both sides against each other. And after a day of bug hunting by FDev, the necessary conflict zones have finally appeared in the target systems.

I am currently running missions for a change of pace and trying to get used to the Python again after two weeks in the space whale.

First time in game since last Saturday.
Jumped from Varati (was helping the Canonn war effort) to Nespeleve to collect my Palin CG money (top 20%), then to Azrael and Apathaam. About 450ly trip.
Enough jumping for one night.

Oh, I got in on all those from prior efforts, just nothing since the weekend when I grinded on them. Now I just need to collect.

Save yourself the trip to Gliese 1269 unless you want to make good-bye screenshots of Jaques station: the BB is gone, and you cannot collect any more. The payout is supposed to happen automatically as part of the 2.1 drop, I intend to make screenshots of my balance and the side panel shortly before the final log-out. Just In Case(TM).
