er... no surrender about it, I simply wont be able to afford to play the thing for a couple weeks. As for equipped, a A6 shield and enough A class boosters to shield solo orbiter, not that they mattered. "Impulse attack!" is all I heard and then it was gone.
edit: dug up the outfit, only thing to change is the fact that the FSD, thrusters and power plant had engineer mods, power plant being armored, thrusters with a clean mod that made them more efficient, and the fsd with a stage two range mod

Thought they had taken out engineer weapon mods from the AI. Guess the cached server didn't hear about it yet.

Nah. I've had 50% taken down in seconds whilst boosting to super cruise a few times.

Today I went to Azrael, just saw NPC ships, nice system someone left the Station door open, went in the Coffee Shop was closed so I headed back out to look around for a Star Bucks then went of to buy so GOLD.

While waiting for my precious Fuel Rats decal, I decided trying those Class 3 Multicannons and switched to my Vulture -- also to get those 3% covered that I need for Deadly.
Boy was I surprised ... NPCs finally shoot back! I took on a fully armed Asp when I was below one shield ring, below 2.1 that would have been easy fry. Now that thing zoomed in, bull-run style, very nearly rammed me, and managed to sort of glue its nose to my ship. Near-constant rain of fire from all six hardpoints.
Now that's what I call dogfighting. Nice.

Think I've come across the Sirius bug, seriously

Got 2 Sirius system permit missions. Was told to look at my inbox. But nothing there. Am already allied with Sirius Corp.
Time to log out anyway. Will check again tomorrow.

Oh. 3 intradictions today. Ran from the 1st one. Killed a master Viper on the Second. And was about to do combat with a Deadly DBS when his friend showed up, for the 3rd.
These guys pop chaff like there's no cool down and it grows on their hulls. Could have taken the DBS alone, but with a friend think it was just a bit too much for my Python. Left with no shields and 96% hull. And only managed to take down 1 shield ring of the DBS.

Just run into the Sirius bug.
Could have sworn I already had it.
Not there, so rock up to Procyron, at 100% allied with faction, offered Permit Aquisition Opportunity immediately, then nothing.
Others report losing the permit and the Permit bug.
Ho hum.

I still seem to have Sirius permit, but is this permit bug affecting other permits too? I have Jotun 'permit acquisition opportunity' mission and it says someone will send me a mail to my inbox with details. Nothing yet..
