My understanding is that this group is basically open but with the exception that going on mindless killing sprees is actually outlawed and not just a 5000 credit speeding ticket. SeemsGood

I've always enjoyed space games and a close friend of mine bought this for me recently and I'm hooked. I've farmed up to a mostly A-rated python and have a HOTAS in the mail, having only just started the grind for faction rep and engineers--seems money is rarely the obstacle.

Rather than get in a pointless argument on reddit with a kid who thinks that random acts of violence in a video game don't have moral consequence because they're "digital" and therefore somehow exempt from such judgements, figure I'd sign up for something that will let me occasionally see human players out in the wild, without being interdicted and killed while clean and with no cargo. I imagine I should fit right in here. I don't want to be a dick to anyone, so I lose nothing by playing here instead of solo as far as I can tell.

Having read the FAQ and the Policy page--Apologies if I've missed something but is there any VoIP service frequently used by this group? Didn't see that information.

Anyway sup I guess. I'm a 27-year-old reasonable human being from Seattle who just wants to chill and play space games. This is a really fucking amazing one, I'll add. sup with you all?

Oh and obviously I'm not the real IceFrog from Valve. I hope that was obvious but figure I'll say it anyway.

Welcome to the group! In my hour-or-so of playing on the Private Group server, as I only joined today, and chatting on the Discord server, everyone here seem to be pretty chill, and reasonable. Mobius PvE is a keeper for sure.

We have two VoIP, check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.
