Not since I have modded my Vette, now I can kill anything in like not many seconds save for an Elite Conda, that takes about a minute.

When trading in my less modded Cutter, I will stand and fight anything up to an Elite Conda serving a thermal beating so I just out run him while waving in the rear view mirror.

The funny part.
Is that my d rated cutter with no mods kills elite anacondas faster and with less hassle than my all out vette.

Just keep them at dead six o'clock and <2.5km, and pelt mines at them then remember to cash in...

Thanks for the replies looke's like i am going to have to try harder in the engineer department then. I must admit before 2.1 i used to pray to get interdicted through boredom lol now i pray not to, but i still maintain the NPCs are too tuff i have lost millions and millions in re-buyes because they are over powered and as far as running i do if i can but they keep on they never give up lol

Almost every jump......Never missing rails or plasmas.....One shotted FSD so you're dead......Shields stripped in secs......

Lost about 40 - 50 mill since 2.1......

A couple of others have have already said this (and it's very true):

Use mines.

The AI can seem like it's cheating with the hyper-aggressive attacks, but it's very vulnerable to eating mines while trying to chase you.

Mines, Mines and more Mines.
Keep an eye on your distance 2.5- 3km is great and there thermal weapons are weak at that range. You'll soon get used to lining them up behind you and they will help you do that because it's there favourite position on a fleeing ship. They will continue to fly right through your barrage of mines regardless of damage. It's a laugh watching these Elite FDL and Anacondas commit suicide while spamming the comm channel, Impossible, I wasn't expecting this.

Oh yes mines most certainly, watch those white dots of doom head towards your attacker. FDLs are my favorite, I don't even bother to boost in my trade conda, I just watch their shields and then their hull evaporate, followed by the satisfying message "235,000 bounty claim awarded: destruction of criminal ..."
