Monday night with some great help from a CMDR Alan (I'll let him fully disclose himself if he so wishes) loading up my Anaconda with 192t of Travel Guides.
Tuesday night I headed out to the first Colonia outpost some 2,000ly away. I took a high-arc path that went 900ly upward and slightly off-axis (towards the 2nd outpost), before starting back down. I only had to go about 500ly out before I discovered my first system, and ended up traveling about 2,500ly total in up and off-axis, before starting to come back down, discovering a good dozen systems and hundreds of planets in systems already discovered.
Now about 600ly from the first outpost, the farthest I've ever traveled out. No mistakes ... yet.
Work kept me from any further progress last night. I plan on changing that in a few hours. But I'm definitely going to have to keep my exploration to a minimum to make it in the next 8 days like I desire.

Been doing the same in my Viper MKIV. Ripping wanted ships out of supercruise and blowing them to hell is a nice change of pace from mining and trading.

Finally got a good 6 hours in Saturday night through very early Sunday morning. I made it to Eagle's Landing, thanx to some help from some Neutron stars.
Basically my route, thus far, has been ...
- Climb 900ly up, then back down, to Hillary Depot (Blu Thua AI-A c14-10)
- Skip Amundsen Terminal (Lagoon Sector NI-S b4-10)
- Climb 1,100ly up, jump around, find some Neutron stars, then back down, to Eagle’s Landing (Eagle Sector IR-W d1-117)
One thing I found out, Jumponium does not combine with Neutron stars. I tried both before and after, +25%, +50% and +100%. No dice.
So, over the next week I'm going to try to get 20 hours in. I plan on using this route ...
- Skip Sacaqawea Space Port (Skaudai CH-B d14-34)
- Drop 1,100ly down, find some Neutron stars, then hit Gigarin Gate (Gru Hypue KS-T d3-31), which is around 900ly down
- Skip Polo Harbour (Boewnst KS-S c20-959)
- Stay around 1,100ly down, find more Neutron stars, then arrive at Jaques Station (Colonia), which is around 900ly down
