For example, I can pile up at least 5-6mil per hour in a high-RES. If i'm lucky, it can get even higher than 8mil.
I often find Low CZ's more challenging than High ones as it will all be going nice and steady, then all of a sudden you get a half dozen ships all turn on you!!!
You earn less money per kill than in a RES but it is a consistent amount per ship so for example an opposing factions Python will be worth 50K and an Anaconda will be 75k every time, There is a variation depending on the rank, elite being the most obviously. The one good thing is there is little to no waiting for ships, there is basically a constant supply of targets.
Just remember that a CZ is between 2 factions at war, you can check which ones in the menus ( press 4 then scroll one screen to the left and see who is at war with each other) Just make sure you are not ruining your reputation with one that you are aligned with. You also need to side with a faction, this can be done in the menus once again, apologies if you know this already.
Once sided, you are then fighting for that faction until you jump out of the instance. When you return you can choose sides again.
Also you do not get any money until you cash in the combat bonds at the supporting stations, same as claiming bounties but under combat bonds.
Hope that helps a little.
